Register now and join the fun as an individual or team! Whether you’re swinging for softballs or cracking baseballs, we've got you covered. With every registration, you’ll get 10 pitches to show off your skills. Need more? Just grab some extra pitches at the field!

When you check in at the Derby Registration Table, you’ll snag a ticket and head over to your age group’s field. Hand your ticket to the check-in person and they’ll announce your age level and team (if you have one) before you start hitting.

Each field features a “fence” for your age group. Smash that ball over the fence and it’s a home run! Our trainers will keep an eye on what counts as a hit for each age level and every home run will boost your final tally.

Keep an eye on the Leader Boards at the field to see how you’re ranking. The Derby is designed for family fun—everyone can join in and compete on different fields at the same time. 

Team Coaches and Captains should register first to create their team.  Once registered, they will receive a link to share with their team for easy registration. 

The Derby will take place on two fields in Rumson and one in Fair Haven.  8u, 10u, and 12u individuals and teams will compete on Meadow Ridge South.  14u, 16u, 18u, Adult individual/teams will compete on Meadow Ridge West. Men's league and women's league will compete across the street at Fair Haven Fields. 

If the Derby is unable to happen on 3/22 due to weather, notifications will be posted on the Bulldawgs website by 10 am on 3/22.  Rain date is TBD.* Bulldawgs reserves the right to move the Derby indoors for a modified version.  

No refunds will be given.  We highly recommend that you purchase the event insurance when registering.

Prizes for Hits and Home Runs will be awarded to softball and baseball winners at each age level. Team winners will be based on the softball and baseball teams at each age level that have the most amount of hits or home runs. Individuals/Teams that have a tie must complete additional rounds until the tie is broken. Winners for teams will be determined based on the average amount of home runs or hits based on the amount of players on each team competing. Winners will have their name listed on the Bulldawgs Softball Website! Special Going Yard prize for the individual that hits the ball the furthest!  (Trainers will determine distance.)
